Your giving not only underwrites camp costs and upkeep of the property, it also helps us to envision the future. Every year finds both increased requests for scholarships during summer camp, and also buildings in need of further improvement.

Our goal is to make Slumber Falls Camp & Retreat Center a more accessible, inclusive enviornment so that all are welcomed here. Your generosity makes that possible. You can make a gift that will transform lives in the following ways:

1,000 Donors Program

Can you spare a quarter a day? Just $0.25 a day can make a huge difference! We're inviting 1,000 donors to participate in a scheduled quarterly gift of $25 as "Friends of the Camp." These gifts will go to underwrite operating costs for Slumber Falls Camp & Retreat Center and be used as necessary.

Annual Capital Campaign

Each year we conduct an annual campaign for facility improvements around the property. Specific projects are identified and gifts are requested to complete them with 100% of the funding come from our generous donors.

For 2023, it is our goal to rebuild Jacob's Ladder, the steps leading to the waterfront, making the access point safer and more accessible to all. Additionally, we hope to complement the improved access with new decks and recreation spaces overlooking the Guadalupe River. The total cost of this project is expected to be $30,000.00.

MEMORIAL FUNDS

Has camp impacted the lives of those you love? Consider a gift to our Memorial Endowment Fund. These gifts are grown so that interest and income generated through their investment will provide a perpetual baseline for capital improvements around the property as the need arises.

Scholarship Funds

With necessary cost increases for operational demands every year, we continue to experience heightened demand for scholarships being available to youths who participate in summer camps. Your gift to the Scholarship Endowment Fund creates a greater pool of resources annually from the income and interest generated to grant scholarships to participating youth.
